3,285 days (or 9 years) as self-employed

Last Sunday it was 3,285 days (or 9 years) since I took the leap into self-employment 🥳... Not that I quite understand where the time has gone, but it must be because I have found fulfillment in what I do. It's been 3,285 days of personal and professional "education" that I can't imagine I could have gotten anywhere else 🌱... And it has been 3,285 opportunities to meet and be inspired by amazing people, and I am so happy and grateful for each and everyone I have met along the way 🙏

Over 70 companies have trusted me to inspire and guide them on their journey to unlock potential and optimize the environment they work in every day.
I’m grateful and humbled – and quite proud 🌿

Having the opportunity to contribute with my knowledge and philosophy and be a small part of their development is an amazing feeling and I am by no means “done or full”.
There’s so much potential out there that I’m excited to help unlock 💥…
I have a feeling that there is much more in me and that the time we are in right now, more than ever before, speaks for us to put “well-being before profit” in our approach to our own lives, management and development of our companies.

When I turned 7 years self-employed, I wrote an article with 5 pieces of advice that I wish I had given myself when I started.
I (thankfully) still very much agree with them (you can read along here if you’re curious 👇)

If I were to add a few new ones, so be it:

▪️ Gratitude does it all – even on the toughest days, there is something to be grateful for and it’s a unique emotion that helps you get back on track.

▪️ Let curiosity be open on your path – and remember that it can also be your enemy and lead you astray.

▪️ Recognize that the more knowledge and insight you gain, the more you find out that you don’t know and that there is always new, exciting knowledge and perspectives ahead.

It is therefore only with even greater joy, expectations and energy that I look forward to the next 3,285 days ahead ✨
