We need to put talent insights on the school curriculum

We have an important “window” right now where we can – and in my eyes must – shape and define a “new everyday”.
To me, this is an optimal opportunity to strengthen our culture, well-being and productivity.
We have just gone through a time where we have been forced to do things differently than usual.
Some things have been good, some have been difficult and some have been completely new.
If we use the time when we are together again to talk about and reflect on what we have been through, I am convinced that we can create a “new everyday life” where we are stronger as individuals and as a community.
Our culture can be strengthened and this will undoubtedly influence well-being and growth.
Two factors that are undoubtedly more important than ever to focus on now.
The above quote by Alvin Toffler is probably more apt than ever.
It’s time to stop and think about what we need to learn, unlearn and relearn.
Those who “win” in the future are those who manage to do just that.
I don’t doubt it for a second.
So how do we start that process in a new busy life?
For me, the answer is simple.
We talk to each other, be curious and help each other put into words how we’ve felt and how we feel right now.
In recent weeks, I’ve been talking to several of my customers about the opportunities to strengthen culture right now.
I’ve started with some very simple questions, all of which give rise to different and nuanced answers.
Nuances that we should be curious about, and in which lies the key to strengthening and raising awareness of our culture and foundation.
Here are 5 questions to inspire you:
What has been the best thing about the way we’ve worked during the lockdown?
What has surprised you most positively in that period?
What “bad habits” do you think we have avoided during this period? Here are the answers to some of the habits you should get rid of and ensure don’t become part of your new everyday life.
Make concrete agreements about it.
What “new” habits do you think should be part of our new way of working?
What did you miss the most from our everyday life? In this answer you’ll find some of the elements that are most important in your culture and that you should take extra care of in the time to come.
Don’t be surprised by answers like “shared lunch, jokes at the coffee machine, closeness and care”

Enjoy the day.
